Remote Control Systems
The controls for multi-room sound depend on your budget. Being able to control the
sound in multiple areas depends on the type of system you install.
Volume Controls/Speaker Selectors:
Volume controls and speaker selectors are the most basic way of distributing sound
throughout your space. By turning your system on manually, you can regulate the
volume and sound output location in each room.
Keypad Controls:
Some multi-room systems that have keypads integrated into special mutli-room
receivers have the ability to raise and lower the volume from a keypad in each room,
change radio stations, change CD player discs or songs, integrate satellite radio,
and have different things playing in different rooms at the same time.
Remote Control Systems:
Have the ability to do all the things that the keypad systems do but you can carry
the remote control around to change the functions.
