Plasma:
Plasma TVs are now very cost-effective and have a long life expectancy. They display
their colors differently than an LCD.
LCD:
LCD has become very popular today because the price has dropped considerably from
a few years ago. The larger sets are still more money than the plasma sets and some
people like the picture better. LCDs will sometimes look better in very brightly
lit rooms.
DLP:
TVs are not as popular today with the advent of cheaper plasma and LCDs. DLP is
a good choice when you want a set more than 70”; however, the picture is not as
good.
Projectors:
When you want to impress your friends and need a picture over 92” this is the way
to go. The projectors are usually designed for a custom room with sound-proofing
and seating for the movie theater experience.
